Introducing the NT HealthPathways Team

       Sheryn Hemley - NT HealthPathways Program Manager 

Sheryn  joined the HealthPathways Team in July 2018 as the Coordinator and now supports the team as Program Manager. .

Sheryn has been a long term NT PHN staff member for over 11 years, undertaking various roles iwithin the organisation, covering Memebers Services, Education Project Officer, and Practice Support Coordinator.

Sheryn enjoys working with such a dynamic team, collaborating with key health services and  streamlinng localised referral system for GPs to improve the health of Territorians.

   Dr Christine Lesnikowski - Clinical Lead

Dr Christine Lesnikowski is a General Practitioner working in private practice in Alice Springs and has contributes to Northern Tertiroty HealthPathwasy as the Clinical Lead and a Clinical Editor.

Christine has lived and worked in the NT for over 25 years, working in a variety of clinical posts in the Hospitals and Primary Health Care settings of Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs and Remote Central Australia. Additionally, Christine has contributed as a Medical Educator with the NT GP Registrars for ten years.

Christine shares her skills and experience as a Board Member for a number of organisaitons such as; the Central Australia Health Service for three years, a Director on the Boards of the various iterations, of what is now the NT PHN, and currently Board Member for the Royal Flying Doctor Service Central Operations (Northern Territory and South Australia).

As Clinical Lead, Christine builds relationships across the NT to strengthen the health pathways, supporting the health pathways team, writing  pathways,  assisting in the management of the HealthPathway clinical content and the wider program development and implementation. 
Christine finds the work is constantly evolving, intellectually challenging, clinically satisfying and is pleased to contribute to a helpful for colleagues, improving the GP's work flow and patient care. 

   Dr Kathy Garran - Clinical Editor

Dr Kathy Garran is a General Practitioner who has been working in Darwin for more than 25 years. She fell in love with the Northern Territory while  completing her medical student elective at Katherine Hospital and returned to Darwin for her internship.

Kathy has worked at Royal Darwin Hospital for several years, completed further training and since then  been working in general practice (with a special interest in lifestyle medicine) and as a surgical assistant.

Kathy has been a Clinical Editor with the NT Health Pathways team since its beginning and finds it is a joy to be working with such a great team on a project that is so important and valuable to primary care practitioners.

    Dr Tahsa Roberston - Clinical Editor
 

Dr Tasha Robertson is a Clinical Editor with the NT HealthPathways team based in Alice Springs and have been in this role since the project started.

Tasha currently work part-time as a GP as Amoonguna Health Service (just ouside of Alice Springs) with my previous experience including working for a number of years in remote communities in Central Australia, Private Practice in Alice Springs and the Emergency Department at Alice Springs Hospital.

Tasha has recenlty become a mum this year, so her special interest is her beautiful little girl and sleep!

       Dr Winnie Chen - Clinical Editor
 

Winnie is a GP Clinical Editor at NT HealthPathways. She previously worked as an editor for the Medical Journal of Australia and has reviewed a range of publications including Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine, CARPA Remote Health Atlas and GPRA Exam Handbook.

Winnie grew up in Darwin but enjoys travelling to cold places to wear coats and scarves!

    Dr Nicole Cater - Clinical Editor 

Nicole has been working in the Northern Territory for the last 10 years. Currently she is workings as a GP at Danila Dilba Health Service in Malak and supports NT PHN as a Clinical and Public Health Lead and Clinical Editor.

Nicole came to Darwin for her internship and never left - completing all General Practice training in the NT, working in various Hospitals, Health Services and locations over the past 10 years.

In her spare time, Nicole and her family enjoy camping, fishing, bushwalking and exploring the huge backyard that is the NT.
